Arrangements

Exhibition Research Lab.
November 28 – December 16, 2022.
Monday – Friday, 11:00am – 4:00pm, or by appointment.

As the nights draw in and the cold weather of Winter approaches, the ERL opens its doors to the arts communities of Liverpool and beyond, and invites them to use the space to develop plans for their own projects in 2023. Activating the space as a site of social engagement and discourse, any group, collective or organisation is invited to spend time using it to help facilitate and expand the progress of their ideas and making Arrangements.

Continuing to promote an expanded notion of curatorial and exhibitionary knowledge production, ERL staff will hold programme development meetings on-site alongside external users and their own meetings. Staff and students at the university will also have access to use the space, and provide the potential to act as sounding boards for meetings taking place at any given time. By opening out the gallery space as a practical lab to peers within Liverpool and beyond the city, the ERL hopes to share its resources with others at a time when free, safe, warm space is increasingly scarce.

Read only copies of publications and periodicals and free to take excerpts of texts will be available, alongside seating, art supplies for children, and other equipment to facilitate discussion and planning. Arrangements is underpinned by a free-to-use drop-in model, but if you would like to book specific dates and times to access the space then please contact info@exhibition-research-lab.co.uk with your preferred dates, times, and group size and we will do our best to reserve space for you.
